Gen V

The Prime Video series “The Boys” is one of the series that is easiest to watch for me. It is frenetic, fun, light and very very gore. It makes me have a very good time. It is a series that I have seen its 3 seasons than two or three times. And I know that in 2024, when the 4th season comes out, I will watch it entire again.

When it was announced that a spin-off was going to come out... I didn't like it. I thought: “We've already started with the nonsense of getting accessories from the goose that lays the golden eggs, annoying…”

And what a joy to be completely wrong.

Gen V is a spin-off in which it takes us to Godolkin University, the place where the best superheroes on the planet study. The series focuses on several students but the common thread is through Marie, a “super” who is capable of using telekinetic powers with blood.

Like “The Boys”, the series does not hold back when it comes to showing explicit scenes of murder, sex or dismemberment. Is light, fast and except for some chapters, not at all boring. In addition, their creators have already said that it is directly connected to season 4 of the boys.
